Below are some examples of high gloss epoxy finish. These pieces will be reflective and almost mirror like.

About Epoxy Finishes

An Epoxy Clear Coat Finish Gives a Stunning, Glass-like look.

Although Durable, Epoxy Will Protect The Wood Of Your Piece, However It Is More Prone To Scratches

Epoxy Requires More “Kid Glove” Handling, But Can Be Renewed If Damaged

Epoxy Finishes are not made to be cut on

Depending on the severity of the scratch on your piece there are a few repair options.

How to Prevent Scratches

DO NOT CUT ON EPOXY SURFACES!!

When cleaning use a non-abrasive terry cloth with a mild soap and warm water

Pat/wipe the piece dry with a dry terry cloth and for charcuterie boards allow to fully air dry on its side.

StoneCoat Countertops makes a cleaner called “liquid Smooth” that can be purchased from their website

The liquid smooth is a great everyday cleaner but you can just as easily use warm water and soap with a terry cloth

Repair

StoneCoat Countertops makes a polishing compound that works great for small scratches

The polishing compound will help remove small scratches in conjunction with a car polishing kit

Don’t have a car polishing kit? Not a problem. Send me you piece and I will polish it back up like new for a small fee (you pay shipping).

For severe or deep scratches of dings, a new coat of epoxy can be applied. Again, I can do this for a fee or if you reach out to me I can walk you through the process for no charge
